Blackwater use thirteen botanicals to distill this gin, the largest of these being strawberry, as you might expect. The berries are grown just outside Enniscorthy (Co. Wexford) and transported to the distillery in a large cool box. After distillation, they soak more strawberries in the gin and that’s how it gets its colour.

A world first for Irish whiskey, this limited-edition release takes Method and Madness Single Pot Still and finishes it in Mulberry wood casks, virtually unknown for ageing spirits. The whiskey has flourished by spending time fusing with the flavours from the Mulberry casks imparting notes of orchard fruits and smoked paprika to intrigue the senses.

The Liberator Irish whiskey been matured initially in first fill American ex-Bourbon casks and then finished for nine months in fresh ex-Tawny Port casks. The Tawny Port finish contributes intensity, richness and complexity to the whiskey: figs, apple and pear on the nose, a rich taste of cocoa, clove and blackcurrant, and a warming long finish.
