This whiskey was founded in 1779 by Daniel Kinahan. It disappeared in the 1900s only to resurface in 2014. Kinahans is blended in small batches and matured and finished in a variety of American oak casks. Bottled at 46% abv with no-chill filtration. The result is a multi-layered, well balanced, mellow, fruity and full flavoured character.

|Nose||Sweet aromas on the nose of butterscotch with some caramels mixed with some nice spiced orchard fruits. A really great combination of sweet and spice.|
|Palate||The taste is oily and thick with notes of dark chocolate, chocolate mint, a touch of apple cobbler, lemon zest, vanilla, and a soft oakiness.|
|Finish||Finishes medium long, piquant, peppery, and with a late blooming spirit ‘kick’ that’s a pleasing way to end.|
