One part of the highly anticipated Whiskey Makers Series by Jameson - The Distillers Safe is a celebration of the head distiller Brian Nation and his control over the quality of new make spirit at the Midleton Distillery. Its matured entirely in ex bourbon casks and carries a blend of pot still and grain whiskeys. The Distillers Safe has picked up the title of "best Irish blended whiskey" at the world whiskies awards 2017.

| Nose | From floral perfume, through fresh herbs, to lively spices, the sweet notes of Irish grain whiskey complement the more robust character of the Irish pot still whiskey. Barley Sugar sweetness combines with grapefruit and green pepper, with a light touch of marzipan. |
| Palate | Starts off with barley sugar sweetness, progressing to hints of cinnamon and even a touch of liquorice. A vibrant note of mandarin orange appears alongside the nuttiness of ground almond. |
| Finish | Stays light and zesty, with barley making a late appearance. |
